What you'll do.
Healthcare professionals are busy, always on the go, and fatigued from the industry norm of hard-to-use tech that rarely works from their phone. An employer's success in healthcare staffing often comes down to who can move great candidates the fastest through the hiring flow.
In a short time our small team of nine has helped solve these frustrations for more than 55,000 healthcare professionals and hundreds of healthcare employers, eliminating the widespread operational inefficiencies that have plagued the healthcare staffing industry for decades.
As an operations leader at Kamana you will build and maintain the operational systems and processes that will scale the Kamana platform to support millions of heathcare pros & thousands of employers nationwide, becoming the new standard in how healthcare staffing operates.
Working directly with our leadership team you will play an instrumental role in helping to rapidly (and sustainably) scale our team and product over the next 12-24 months, and will support our day to day operations by doing things like:
- assess, build, document, and maintain scalable operational procedures across the company
- collaborate across all teams to establish, collect, analyze and report on key metrics, extracting actionable insights that help keep the organization on track and accountable
- help strategize for, document, and follow up on key internal and external meetings
- support the customer experience team on key implementations and relationships
- work on a variety of projects that help carry out the strategic objectives of the organization
- assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts as we continue to scale our team
What you've done before.
You have played a major role in helping a company scale its team and product by building, implementing, and iterating upon operational workflows across an organization. You have been independently responsible for critical operational tasks. You have helped establish and have been accountable for key metrics for growth and success within a business.
During this time you have developed a love of thinking critically, communicating clearly, and wearing many hats. Experimentation is frequent at Kamana. Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must.

Having been on the ground floor of a fast growing software startup, with a desire to repeat this journey, will set you apart from other candidates. A clinical background and/or knowledge of the healthcare staffing industry would be amazing, but is in no way required.
Salary, benefits, & how we work.
This is a full time exempt position with an expected salary of $100,000 - 110,000+/year.
