What you'll do.

Over the past twelve months, the Kamana team has grown from three to more than twenty full-time employees who have helped more than 100,000 healthcare professionals and hundreds of healthcare employers more efficiently navigate the world of healthcare staffing.

As the People Success Specialist and early member of the People & Culture team at Kamana, you will play an instrumental role in helping us even more rapidly scale the team over the next 12-24 months.

You will be the point person for all new hires through their entire onboarding journey, and you’ll be the go-to person for existing employees who need to expand their knowledge across departments. To accomplish this, you'll do things like:

  • Collaborate with our People & Culture Manager to create and implement processes for onboarding and training new hires, as well as continuing education for our current employees.
  • Collaborate with our internal subject-matter experts to translate their experience and knowledge about the healthcare staffing industry into digestible content to educate new hires about the pain points Kamana is working to solve.
  • Maintain onboarding and training materials to remain in sync with departmental SOPs.
  • Become an expert on the Kamana product, and carry out product training for all new hires.
  • Become an expert on all core internal tools, and support the implementation of new ones.
  • Continually identify gaps to iterate on our onboarding and internal training process.

Experimentation is frequent at Kamana. Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must.

What you've done before.

  • You have experience building training and onboarding programs, and have personally trained people on products and processes. This can include internal employees or external customers.
  • You have become extremely comfortable with technology and are always looking for the newest tools to help employees automate the mundane, and operate at their highest IQ.
  • You have developed an ability to translate complex information into easily digestible content.
  • You have developed excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect easily with others and build rapport.

It'd be cool if you've done this.

Experience in SaaS and the tech industry will get you to the top of the list. Having been on the ground floor of a fast-growing startup, with a desire to repeat this journey, may also set you apart from other candidates, but is not required as long as you are up for the challenge! A clinical background and/or knowledge of the healthcare staffing industry would be amazing, but is in no way required.

Salary, benefits, & how we work.

This is a full time exempt position with an expected salary of $61,000 - $66,000/year.
