What you'll do.
Healthcare professionals are busy, always on the go, and fatigued from the industry norm of hard-to-use tech that rarely works from their phone. An employer's success in healthcare staffing often comes down to who can move the fastest through the hiring flow. With this in mind, we are passionate about creating user-centric, mobile-first, and hyper-fast technology.
As the fourth member of our software engineering team, you’ll be working day-to-day with our technical founder and engineering/product team to uphold this passion and build the experiences that will solve these very real challenges for the market.
You'll be using Elixir and the Phoenix web framework as your primary development tools. You’ll expand our real-time capabilities with LiveView and help us solve technical challenges in the world of healthcare staffing.
As we continue expanding our engineering team over the months ahead, we will be looking to promote from within. This position will have the opportunity to earn this promotion and contribute to shaping the leadership structure of our engineering team.
What you've done before.
You have production experience developing and deploying Elixir applications. You have an in depth understanding of the components of Phoenix (Controllers, Channels, Contexts, Schemas, etc.). You also have a deep understanding of how Elixir (and Erlang) concepts make Phoenix possible. Lastly, you have experience working as a Senior Software Engineer and have held a position of leadership on team of four or more.
It'd be cool if you've done this.
And finally, knowledge of the following would be amazing, but is in no way required: healthcare staffing or credentialing software, Applicant Tracking System / CRM / HR Technology development and/or integrations.
